Banning apps is stupid, whether it’s TikTok or Telegram, but you are not a saint either. Your platforms are used by scammers, distributors of illegal pornography, and copyright infringers. You don’t comply with government regulations and refuse to share metadata or help law-enforcement agencies track them. Other messaging apps like WhatsApp cooperate with authorities, which deters anti-social elements from using them. People choose your app because it provides them with a safe haven. That is exactly why your app has been permanently banned in 15 countries and you are blacklisted to enter those countries

India’s IT ministry banned Telegram for one week because some users shared leaked exam questions. This punishes 150M+ ordinary Telegram users in India — not the insiders who leaked the exam materials. And the ban hasn't stopped anything. The leaks just moved to other apps.

These coaching teachers have their own Telegram channels where they share notes and study material with students. Banning the app right before exams would have created even more chaos than the paper leak itself. I'm telling you, the bureaucrats sitting in the government are either completely clueless about who actually leaked the paper, or they're simply trying to shift the blame onto Telegram. Either everyone involved is protecting the real culprits, or they all are involved in paper leak..

@Delta_SquadAnex Will Chinese again do that
