@megbasham Genuine question. Is it ok for ice agents to reach inside someone’s car? Under what circumstances?

A really important point here from the ICE agent’s father: he was not acting just to protect himself but also the other agent whose arm was still attached to the vehicle when Renee Good hit the gas. That officer easily could have been dragged with the car if she had been able to successfully get away. Given that the ICE agent himself had been dragged in precisely that manner only months earlier, sustaining serious injuries, he would have been especially aware of the mortal threat her actions posed to his fellow officer.

She tried running him over with her car. There are consequences when you try to injure or kill an officer. Stop attacking ICE.
