This is an extremely disappointing decision from the club. We were clear to them that increasing prices for three seasons in a row is wrong and unfair Here’s our initial reaction to this

Spirit of Shankly stands in full solidarity with Ibrahima Konaté. Racist abuse has no place in football or society. It is cowardly and must be met with real consequences not just words. Players are not targets. They are people. We will always stand with our players. ✊🏼

Liverpool FC is appalled and disgusted by the vile and abhorrent racist abuse directed at Ibrahima Konaté on social media.

This is welcome news. We have previously raised concerns with the club and ownership about multi club ownership, our general opposition to it and how it impacts clubs - and supporters - such as on transfers or when it comes to European competition
