Tbh, JadeWardโs story started strong and promising. The emotions were building up, creating a sense of anticipation. However, it suddenly dropped and went all over the place.
For example, Jade had a slow-motion moment when she saw Edward again (she even smiled). They have a cute backstory (Jade even kept all the stuff that Edward gave), but itโs still unclear why Jade didnโt attend the prom. Iโm not even sure if thereโll be an explanation or story behind it, as the two seem to have moved on. Also, there was a time when Jade got jealous when Edward was having a photo shoot at the pool while there were other girls. Mga asaran pa nila. And the best scene of the two? It was when Edward was the only one who didnโt stop to look for Jade. And the moment he saved her? Wow.
After all those beautiful scenes of JadeWard, itโs kinda confusing to see their story go downhill. Iโm also unsure about the focus of the series now. So many conflicts. I just hope that the part involving K (related to malas and sumpa) kasi doon agad nag shift ang flow after everything that happened sa JadeWard is necessary and relevant to the overall story hindi lang to establish the love triangle.
Basta for now, Jadeโs treatment of Edward is completely unacceptable. Edward, wake up!

For now, Iโm still trying to understand Jadeโs perspective, I still want to give the benefit of the doubt (since hindi pa tapos ang show marami pa pwede mangyari), but there are definitely some missing pieces and at the same time unnecessary elements.
I still crave an intense confrontation between Jade and Edward. Oh please, sana ibigay siya sa right moment and situation in the series. I also want more twists, secrets, and revelations. Hopefully, the build-up to the story and characters of Jade and Edward wonโt be wasted. Iโd also love to see more progress in the conflict of each person and more opportunities to learn about each other and their secrets.
Iโm still supporting the show and rooting for DB. I know everyone worked hard on it but as a viewer Iโm simply discussing the charactersโ behaviour and the storyโs flow only based on my observations. I just hope things improve in future episodes.
By the way, please donโt think weโre bitter because it doesnโt benefit our ship. Weโve been supportive from the start. We subscribed, promoted, participated and even defended the cast and show when some fans bashed at the beginning. However, as viewers, we need to offer constructive criticism for improvement. Itโs perfectly normal to express your reactions as you watch something. Right?
