@alex_hutchi I believe they are stamps that are put into wet concrete to record who did the paving. The ones I posted are from my neighborhood in CA.

@domesticetch These are wonderful. This is pure conjecture, but since I’ve never seen metal ones in CA, maybe the embedded metal is an older method?
