Another but peddling lie... What's the name of the school, year and the management that ever denied you access to participate in Yoruba cultural dance because you can't speak Yoruba well... Ẹyin opurọ burúkú yi
Onion Cider@abbietayo

@Nerdess1 No it actually gets to me. Schooled in command and they won’t even let me participate in Yoruba cultural dance because I don’t look or speak the Yoruba they know. Now me saying that don’t cancel other identities is a problem then mehnnnn

Those who live outside north eastern Nigeria especially Borno state might not really value what the soldiers are doing.... May Allah bless our armed forces and grant them victory over the enemies...
Toju weston@TojuWes

Before you talk sh!t about our troops remember these men are the reason why we haven't become like Afghanistan. Channel your Anger to the FG,The president, but don't insult the AFN. If they leave the Frontline today Kiss Nigeria Goodbye.

A sincere response to you, Was there a time we block you people from calling out the ineffectiveness of the government? Several protest have been done and still going on across Nigeria, did you ever see us venting anger on such action? I personally and several others have no affiliation or connection to this government nor do we belongs to APC, so it's your right under the constitution to call out the government at anytime any day... Please and please if you don't want to be unfortunate in your life don't ever bring this kind of gaslighting to us whenever we're dealing with proof who denigrate us Yoruba's... Our women are our pride... Ki gbogbo yin ko oriburuku lọ

@adeleke8450 Sincere question to you (and others that share your opinion): Does this calling out NOT apply to politicians and government who embezzle and impoverish the people? On a Severity scale, is the Actor's "offense" worse than the impact of Tinubu and other politicians?

Summary of why Yoruba women are angry on the timeline - Coldslur is a popular Twitter feminist who has also advocated for good governance and gender equality. - Coldslur, who does not support the Tinubu government, made a tweet stating that for a long time there had never been tribalism, but Tinubu was the one who used tribalism to divide the country. - This tweet did not sit well with people, and they started digging up her past tweets from 2013. They found out how vocal she had been about her dislike towards Yoruba women. - A Twitter user, Adenike, stated that she had always seen Coldslur as a feminist, and she is now disappointed at how Coldslur claims to be a feminist but has said demeaning words about Yoruba women. - This has now turned into a full-blown tribal conversation, as people are digging up tweets from various years ago from people who claim to fight for others but have expressed their dislike towards Yoruba women. - According to reports, Coldslur might lose her job at her company over these tribal tweets, though some Twitter users are saying tweets from 13 years ago should not determine a person’s character today. - Twitter users quickly reminded them , that Ezra was not given this same grace when he lost his job at Paystack over his past tweets from 2012. - Yoruba women on the timeline are now angry about how they have been disrespected over the years but stayed quiet about it so they would not sound like bigǒts - People are also condemning the backhanded compliments extended to Yoruba women, such as saying they look “too beautiful to be Yoruba” - A recent screenshot of Coldslur was also posted where she stood her ground on how she felt towards Yoruba women while still presenting herself as a feminist - Coldslur has now put her account on private and changed her name to “One Chance” What are your thoughts ??

First of all, I want to apologize to well respectable Yoruba people for this error, The insult and threat to life and livelihood I have experienced (dms saying all sorts / threat to take my youtube page / even as far as wishing my parent death andending my career) in the last 3 days has been extremely disturbing. Imperfect match the film was made 3 years ago…it was meant to be a comedy film between 2 tribe and a lot of disagreement and fights before a resolution of love. That’s what the film is about ..we never intended 3 years ago to make a film to stereotype any tribe that was fictionally displayed. We truly and genuinely just wanted to make a film people will love and know that we can co-exist as a united nation. I was subtly trying to explain why i couldn’t do anything at the time or insisted on a different direction at that time because I was honestly an actor on set in this scene even though I produced it. On set my director has the final say, that’s why in films it’s a film by the named director not the producer not the actor. I am not also a script writer , I didn’t write that script neither did we actively include the phrase to disrespect or ascribe a tribe that I am extremely proud to belong to. I am Yoruba, omo ibadan ponbele ni mi. Most importantly at that time neither of us knew better. To my people and lover of my work. I am not a disrespectful person, neither would I agree to stereotypes agenda knowingly done. Never. I also don’t like trouble or drama that’s why I would rather exist the room. Again this is duly noted and we truly apologize and as the producer I take full responsibility.
