@CioaraJeremy @theveeya There are 3 stages of mastery. Attention, Acquisition, and Ascension. After doing things for a long time I think we forget what we needed when we first started. The OSI Model is just a simple toolbox to organize all the other concepts and how they relate.

Okay...planning out some network training for our team @theveeya. Weird question for you: do you really need to know the OSI Model to be an effective network engineer? I originally thought "absolutely"...but as I sit here and reflect, I'm not so sure...

@CioaraJeremy I currently have my CCNA Security+ and ITIL. Next CCNP ENCOR then CISSP and PMP. That is what I would like to have anyway.

What certification are you going after? ...and why?
