But let’s be real for a second the uncomfortable part is still true: Everything compounds. Quietly. The tier of college you end up in, the crowd you actually spend most hours with, the way you choose to use (or waste) those 4 years they don’t scream their influence today… but they quietly tilt the slope you’ll climb later. Not in a dramatic “your life is ruined” sense. More like: “you just bought yourself a steeper hill.” No IIT/NIT tag? → You’ll need to outwork the brand filter. Skills still at zero by 3rd year? → You’ll be racing to learn under placement panic. Multiple rejections in campus drives? → Your first job-switch runway just got shorter and windier. Nothing is truly impossible. Reverse-engineering is always an option. People do it every year. But every shortcut taken early comes with compound interest later usually in the form of pressure, longer hours, and that quiet voice asking “what if I had started sooner?” So yeah… the math is simple: Small, consistent effort right now is the cheapest currency you’ll ever pay with. Delay it, and life will happily collect the same debt later just at a much higher interest rate. Do your share on time. Future you will thank you when the bills arrive.

Criticising demonetisation is valid but pretending the problems it tried to address never existed is intellectual dishonesty.
