@notbyjacobparis A good start is no tutors besides stuff like Steve or rampant growth etc. then if a card is busted in testing, take it out. Sometimes those cards show up a lot and you stop including them altogether unless the deck absolutely calls for it (Jeskaโs Will, Smothering Tithe)

This is going to sound sarcastic but i mean this sincerely, how do you build โcasualโ commander decks? Like what makes your decks casually? Budget? card choice? The more competitive magic i play the harder it is to figure out that gap!

something i really love about this podcast i did is how much it celebrates the wonderful brewing skills of @BobbieChristxne barbie made me a cow deck and literally taught me how to enjoy commander with it she's amazing, this podcast was a ton of fun, give it a listen :)
