We're in the process of doing some major maintenance on the antiSMASH and related secondarymetabolites.org servers. Please excuse any service interruptions.

We have just released the stable version of our new antiSMASH 6.0.0. Find the tarball on dl.secondarymetabolites.org/releases/6.0.0/, and the docker standalone and standalone-lite containers on the Docker hub. Bioconda packages will take some more work to update and validate, no promises yet.

Last week we asked for some letters of support for a grant submission. We were overwhelmed with how many people reached out and sent letters. 🙌 Thanks a lot from the whole team!

antiSMASH needs your help: We're applying for funding to improve operations. If you like this service, we'd appreciate a short email to support-letters(at)secondarymetabolites.org with a short description of who you are, where you work, and how antiSMASH helps you with your job.

We'll use this short interruption of your regular antiSMASH scheduling to do some updates to our servers. We should be back up and running in less than an hour.

We keep seeing intermittent network outages between the antiSMASH job runners and the job queue server, causing jobs to hang occasionally. We're still trying to identify the core issue.

It looks like running jobs were interrupted by a network outage earlier this morning. We'll be restarting affected jobs and expect to be back to normal in a few minutes.

We've restored service to the fungiSMASH website again, but are running at reduced capacity again until we can replace the failed server.

And a second server just died. This might take a bit longer.

It looks like we have another server failure on the fungiSMASH website, a different server this time. Please bear with us while we try to sort this out.

We replaced the faulty hardware on the failed fungiSMASH server and expect to be back to full capacity tomorrow, after three machine is done recovering state.

One of our fungal antiSMASH servers seems to be dead. We'll be running on reduced capacity for the time being. Sorry for the inconvenience.
