I think ownership deserves a ton of blame for treating the team as an asset rather than a sports team (revenue vs players) but FO deserves all the blame for the product we are seeing. They missed out on several players and couldn’t fix it

Ownership has signed off on three nine-figure deals in the last calendar year. They gave the FO the green light to spend money and trade future assets this winter. Highest payroll in team history, 6th highest CBT number in baseball. Blame em for Mookie, full throttle, everything ‘20-‘24. It was awful. But going from last year’s product to this year’s is on others before it’s on ownership.
