They liked how the card looked. It was signed by the person who sings the Pokémon song, someone they had just met. That moment meant something to them something they’ll remember for a long time. They walked up to Jason’s table the same way they would any other trade. But instead of letting it be a simple fun moment, some vendor turned it into a value argument and ruined it for them. Jason Paige sets a price on his signed cards, and people choose to pay it. It’s not a scam it’s been known for years.
