Can anyone think of any game sequels that were remarkably WORSE than the original? Usually the sequel is the original game perfected, and the third, while good, isn't quite as great as the second.

@tuuu28283 In the US, if someone asks you if "how's it going" it is not a genuine question. It is a greeting, where you are expected to say good. But in other English countries they ask "You Ok?" or "You alright" which in US is what you ask if you think someone is injured, in distress.

@Tony_BATtista @cmcdavid97 I watched live, and they superimposed the missing part of the puck over it. There's no way it wasn't a goal, but it was close. When they review in Toronto, they can extrapolate the 3'' diameter and do a frame by frame with any missing pieces with a round puck shape.

@FilmLadd Pretty much. A site has to be at least 2-3x better for there to be any exodus, first mover advantage is huge with social networks. Billions have been spent on migration advertising that never works, and coordinated astroturfing by Bluesky failed hard.

So many obvious problems with X and other social media platforms - with obvious solutions! - makes me wonder if someone shouldn't just use a bunch of AI coding agents to help whip up a new social media platform. Are we really just *stuck* with the ones that already exist?
