Macquarie has borrowed $11.3b from the RBA on a 3 year deal at a fixed rate of 0.1%, which is repayable on June 30, 2024. If they were paying the current official rate of 4.1%, this would be costing $463m pa in interest or $1.27m a day. $11.3m a year is a bargain. Lucky for some.
