WTF?? Outrage erupts after ICE captures US soldier's new wife HOURS after wedding, despite the fact she was in the US since she was a toddler, and was following the legal process.
A U.S. Army staff sergeant Matthew Blank and his wife Annie Ramos arrived at Fort Polk ready to start their life together. Within hours, it collapsed.
ICE agents entered the base and detained Annie Ramos, an undocumented immigrant brought here as a toddler, despite her being married to an active-duty soldier and already in the process of applying for a green card.
Sergeant Matthew Blank: Our plan was to drive over, bring her to the office to get her military ID and activate her military spouse benefits. Instead, she got ripped away from me.
Ramos had a deportation order from 2005, issued when she was just 22 months old after her family missed a hearing. Immigration experts say cases like hers were not typically detained before Trump’s mass deportation push.
Ramos, from detention: I grew up here like any American. This is all I know. My husband and family are here.
ICE defended the arrest, saying she has no legal status and a final order of removal.
This is what happens when an evil policy on paper turns into an even worse atrocity in real life. A soldier preparing for deployment, his family shattered, his focus destroyed.
As Rev Miguel A Rivera put it: Neighborhoods need to organize for tactical peaceful counter response to such thugs. Many alternatives are available to let them know we are TIRED of American residents being harassed and mistreated.
DAMN RIGHT.

It is unbearably painful when our children are suffering time and again from Russian attacks. As a result of the strike on Odesa, three people have been killed, including a two-year-old girl, and 15 more have been wounded. My condolences to their families and loved ones. I wish strength and a swift recovery to all those affected. Every day, the aggressor state strikes our regions — targeting residential buildings, hospitals, schools, and kindergartens. There is no justification for this. No Russian crime against Ukraine should be reduced to just another news item — it must receive a clear international assessment and punishment.

Last night, Russia struck Odesa with attack drones. Residential buildings, a kindergarten, and a district power substation have been damaged. Thousands of families have been left without electricity. Repair crews have been working since the night to restore power supply.
As of now, tragically, three people have been reported killed in this attack, including a child – just two years old. My sincere condolences to the families and loved ones.
Sixteen people have been wounded. Eleven of them have been hospitalized by our medics, including a pregnant woman and two children. The youngest is not even a year old. Two people have also been injured in the Kharkiv region.
Energy infrastructure was struck in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipro regions. I thank our emergency services helping on the ground.
In total, overnight, the Russians launched more than 140 attack drones against Ukraine, nearly 80 of them “shaheds.” In some regions, strikes are still ongoing. And this is only part of what our people endure every day. During the past week, over 2,800 attack drones were used, along with nearly 1,350 guided aerial bombs, and more than 40 missiles of various types.
Right now, all partners need to strengthen air defense together so that the interception rate of drones and missiles continues to increase. This is a daily effort for everyone, not just Ukraine, because through supplies, support for us, and joint work, our partners are helping themselves as well. Russia has no intention of stopping. I thank everyone who understands this and contributes to our shared defense.

Yesterday at approximately 13:00, two KAB-250 aerial bombs struck my medical point.
The first detonation occurred while I was on the porch organizing medical supplies. Inside, my nurse @once_upon_a_travel_nurse was caring for recovering servicemen, assisted by @ryeioww. Another female soldier was preparing food. Two servicemen under active care were present, including one with severe combat injuries resulting in blindness and loss of function in one leg.
Immediately after the first strike, my nurse and I established verbal contact and confirmed that all personnel were alive. Without hesitation, the team responded with discipline and composure. We began evacuating the wounded from the structure, moving them across the street while coordinating transport for further evacuation.
During this process, a second bomb struck.
The second impact, a FAB-250, is a 250-kilogram high-explosive aerial bomb carrying approximately 120 kilograms of explosive material, designed to destroy infrastructure and fortified positions with a blast radius of roughly 120 meters. It detonated directly at the rear of the medical point.
The explosion caused a structural collapse. The ceiling fell onto my nurse, who, despite the impact, continued providing care. I sustained shrapnel injury to the thigh. Vivi maintained focus and continued assisting with the evacuation, ensuring the wounded were loaded into a vehicle.
All vehicles at the site were destroyed. The medical point was completely demolished.
Despite the scale of the strike, all personnel survived. The strength and resilience of my amazing girls is unmatched, and without them, the outcome would have been much different

April 6 (Reuters) - Iran and the U.S. have received a plan to end hostilities that could come into effect on Monday and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a source aware of the proposals said on Monday.
A framework to end hostilities has been put together by Pakistan and exchanged with Iran and the U.S. overnight, the source said, outlining a two-tier approach with an immediate ceasefire followed by a comprehensive agreement.
"All elements need to be agreed today," the source said
