All @Polkadot-native assets on Moonbeam are now true ERC-20s — fully EVM-native.
You can now fork Moonbeam using tools like @HardhatHQ & Foundry to interact with these assets seamlessly.
Remember that balances and approvals were migrated as new EVM transactions.

🚨 Asset Migration Incoming 🚨 Starting tomorrow, we’re finalizing the transition to EVM-native assets on Moonbeam: As part of the migration, token spend approvals are moved within the underlying chain storage and will appear in the block explorer as though a large number of approvals were suddenly created. This is expected and so users need not be concerned. This multi-phase upgrade began in late 2024—RT3400, RT3501 & now RT3600—bringing better EVM compatibility and unified asset management.
