@SeiGekKa0 @anna_nunaa Provinces are kinda like the same thing as individual cities here. It's not like other countries where 1 province can have many cities. Here, it's province and then straight to district -> subdistrict.

@anna_nunaa Not related to the topic, but I wonder why a small country like Thailand has 77 provinces when the USA only has 50 states, and China has 34 divisions, countries which are bigger and have a larger population. I smell corruption from so many governors.

Thailand has 77 provinces and more than 50–60 ethnic groups. Thai people are not only ethnically Tai. Whatever civilization exists in this land is part of the heritage of all Thai people. I really wonder why some Japanese try to classify and separate ethnic groups within Thailand like this. this’s kind of thinking common in Japan? 🇯🇵😒

@_Mr_fool_ @AndyKavna Footnotes are perfectly fine in print format. Greatly discouraged in motion or interactive (anime & games) cuz dialogues aren't meant to be paused and avoiding screen clutter is very high priority. Netflix, for example, limits their subtitle to 2 lines, 42 characters each.

@tropicalzz_ @jamakasohot You've never seen/been in/part of a close girl friend group and it shows. Who died and made you king to say that what should or should not be done between two consenting adults that are very friendly and familiar with each other?

@blue_empty_sky @jamakasohot No I’m using y’all’s logic that sm interactions means everything to yall, which I stated for you if you actually read to comprehend, but it seems to me you lack that. The fact you honed/deflected in on that instead is pathetic. Friend, foe or whatever NO ONE should be doing that

Sometimes, you really just need to listen to locals tho. Trust me, we know what sexual harassment is, and no one tolerates it. We called out that male director for verbally harassing her on his facebook, and what Namtan did was support us as well. Remember? Yes, people shouldn’t overstep someone’s personal boundaries or touch someone without consent, regardless of gender. But if she’s okay with it and consent was there, then who are we to say otherwise? I’m sure Namtan isn’t someone who would stay silent if something made her uncomfortable. And no, other hosts aren’t usually that touchy. In thai culture, we don’t really do that either. It’s just Moddam being Moddam. She’s like this only with people she’s close to or adores, and one of them is Namtan. (She can even hug a former female prime minister, no one else can really do that.) I don’t really know how to explain it, but thai people genuinely see Moddam as a queen (not a man), just like Namtan mentioned in her statement. We’re very familiar with her, and we know there’s no sexual or harmful intention behind those actions. It’s like seeing Sam Smith hugging Anne Hathaway, something like that. (She hugged Namtan during that live bc Namtan was teasing her about only remembering gmmtv actors. Moddam got embarrassed, hugged her, and hid behind Namtan’s back. That’s the whole situation.) And tbh, they could just skip this show next time. It’s not that beneficial, aside from reaching a wider audience. I think top influencer youtube channels work better.

@tropicalzz_ @jamakasohot You think being mutuals on socials is what it takes to be close 😂😂😂. They deffo have each other added on Line and chat all the time. You're not NT's friend. MD is her friend and knows her better than you'll ever do. Yall are very strange for misconstruing their relationship. L

@blue_empty_sky @jamakasohot Close but she don’t follow him & vice versa since yall love looking to sm for clues (can’t make this up lmfao), yall are very strange justifying this behavior. And if they were “close” that doesn’t give him or anyone the right to touch her in her inner thigh; are yall okay???. L

@Streetwoman23 Whose desire for whose personal space? Who are you to decide boundaries between two friends that don't know you? Feel free to see us as the odd ones, but in our eyes you all are the weird ones to misconstrue this relationship thru your ignorant bias.

@blue_empty_sky Labeling the desire for personal space as 'toxic' is a misunderstanding of basic respect. Whether they are friends is beside the point, boundaries should be the standard. You’re free to see this as acceptable, but I have different view on it 🙂.

@1318163173Ke @jamakasohot No offense, but your attempt to educate me on what is inappropriate conduct is condescending in my eyes. See what it means now to only perceive an action at face value with 0 understanding of the underlying context?

@Streetwoman23 The apology is precisely because of you all, not the system or anything. It's her intl. fandom being toxic protective. You still can't see anything beyond "boo hoo, she's a victim of the system".

@1318163173Ke @jamakasohot Put down your phone. Go take a good breath outside. Let your anger simmer off and let your logic slowly build up. Maybe drop the condescending thought that Thai people are ignorant of personal boundaries and that we're too naive to see harassment. We're not. We see what u don't.

@1318163173Ke @jamakasohot I wouldn't cuz I'm a man and that gesture isn't appropriate for men, especially since Moddam is gay. A super girly gay man doing that to their close girl friend in the middle of a gleeful conversation? No biggie especially if the girl has no problems with it.

@1318163173Ke @jamakasohot That's cuz you still perceive it as inappropriate when it's not in this context. I can go on and on about how strangers kissing in the west can be super inappropriate to Thai eyes, but that is idiotic, cuz it's different cultures and what comes out is harmless.

@blue_empty_sky @jamakasohot Do not use cultural differences as an excuse or fig leaf. I fully respect Thai culture, yet I firmly believe Thai culture is never a dumping ground, and no inappropriate and discourteous conduct should ever be attributed to it.

I'm grateful that things like this aren't normalized in my country. Every country has powerful people who feel empowered & can intimidate, especially women who are considered weak. However, if this were to become public knowledge or public viewing, that person should be prepared

This’s getting out of hand 🤦🏻‍♀️ Interfans, if you support an artist from another culture, pls take the time to understand it before judging. In Thai culture, calling seniors Mae, showing affection through touch, and being physically close are normal signs of respect and familiarity—not something inappropriate. Namtan already clarified everything. The fact that she even felt the need to apologize says a lot about how far this has gone.😶 Attacking people she respects and works with isn’t protecting her but putting her in a difficult position. Thai entertainment industry is small and highly competitive. Dragging influential figures into unnecessary drama can directly affect an artist’s opportunities. If you truly support her, respect her words, her environment, and the people around her. Think before reacting—are you helping her, or making things harder?

@jamakasohot We all know how this industry works. P'Namtan is only apologizing because the power dynamic leaves her no choice but to stay quiet to avoid being blacklisted and It’s honestly maddening. Let’s stop pretending that her apology makes the behavior acceptable.

@1318163173Ke @jamakasohot This is the same level as a Thai person calling kissing cheeks in western culture inappropriate, you know. Kissing strangers is an unthinkable thing here, but we understand it's foreign culture and doesn't raise senseless drama.

@Ruff681368 @nekobungi Cygames' "Merry Christmas" -> "Happy Holidays" thing is more of a self-censorship policy across all company properties. Unironically changing and altering all instances of "Christmas" is a pretty hard task to do and most translators wouldn't do it unless enforced by a guideline.
