@mariamagistrali @VolleyActu @LNVofficiel Après vérification, le comportement bizarre de tout ça est lié au fait que ces caractères ne sont pas vraiment des caractères en gras, mais des symboles mathématiques. Et j'imagine que des caractères mathématiques accentués sont moins std. Par exemple compart.com/en/unicode/U+1…

@VolleyActu Pour info, apparemment un pb d'encodage de plusieurs caractères de votre texte qd vous essayez de mettre en gras etc. Ça fait pareil sur mon navigateur sur l'ordinateur et sur mon Pixel 6.

@p_greze @aheritier Words matter. That's why I wrote 'as a policy'. I'm not against /ever/ squashing. I'm totally against "here we squash 100% of the PRs against our repo". In the case you describe, maybe many such PRs would get squash-merged. But properly formed ones would not.

@bmathus @aheritier In the project I'm working now, there was never any commit quality (or i completely missed the "fix test" merits). IMO Squash & merge is a great way to keep a clean trunk branch, whoever is working in the project.

@aheritier @cfurmaniak And if you have to do code archeology later, say you use bisect, you're going to find much bigger commits to reason about and hence harder to nail a given issue.

@aheritier @cfurmaniak And also that's negating the good work that may have happened before the PR got filed, carefully crafting many commits of functionally related changes to finally be able to propose it for review (PR) and boom you crush this all and move on... 😱🤦‍♂️
