Because if we step back from the mythology of Holocaust uniqueness, we can see that it's not about numbers. It's about ideology, history, culture, fascism, colonialism/imperialism, capitalism. We owe it to history, to each other, and to Palestine to act accordingly. (15/15)

We can recognize that the vast history of human stories and richness of culture that was developed was extinguished to a devastating degree, and find common cause with others who have faced this. We are not unique, and/so we are not alone. (11/x)

The Holocaust just HAS to be the worst event of history and Hitler HAS to be the worst human because otherwise we accept that it could, and does, and is, and will happen again. We have to recognize that this awful, awful event has lots of company in history. (9/x)

Minha posição sobre a guerra Israel-Hamas é muito clara. 1°- Defendo os dois Estados; 2°-Não interpreto o ataque do Hamas como resistência, foi terrorismo; 3°-O maior beneficiário do ataque do Hamas foi Netanyahu e a extrema-direita que sempre quis expulsar os Palestinos; 4°-Defendo o cessar-fogo e a devolução dos reféns de ambos os lados; 5°-Como humanista, não acho que as guerras são soluções para nada. 6°-Como Lula, penso que a solução é política e passa por preservar vidas inocentes. 7°-Pelo que li e tenho lido os dois povos são originários da mesma região. Tem que haver uma divisão efetiva do território. 8°-A comunidade internacional tem que contribuir financeiramente para a reconstrução de Gaza. 9°-Israel tem que parar a colonização na Cisjordânia que tem que ser Palestina; 10°-Esse conflito que escalou para o genocídio cujo as vítimas principais são crianças, mulheres e idosos trouxe embutido duas pragas: a islâmofobia e o antissemitismo.

Imagina se um bairro de São Paulo estivesse afundando o que não estaria sendo noticiado nas televisões deste país.
