I'd sell Isak this summer for £80m and reinvest in a reliable, fit player.
We can't rely on his fitness next season.
The idea of him replacing Salah goals is ridiculous — Salah missed ~16 games in 9 years; Isak has already missed double that this season alone.
It'd take real courage for Hughes and Edwards to admit the mistake and cash in, so it's unlikely to happen.
Would you agree???

@Corballyred Such a waste of money and letting city get them two lads is the worst piece of business ive seen in a long time

Honestly signing Isak for 125 million has been an absolute shambles.
Before he arrived at LFC he'd missed 1/3 of Newcastle games over the previous 3 seasons. So we had our warning.
This season he has been fully fit for about 5 games.
We cannot go into next season relying on Isak fitness 👍

Alexander Isak is set to miss Liverpool vs Man United. He is expected to be out for a 1-2 weeks approximately.

🚨🗣️ Jamie Carragher on choosing between Bayern’s trio and Barça’s legendary front three:
🗣️ He said he would pick Bayern Munich’s attack Michael Olise, Harry Kane, and Luis Díaz without hesitation.
Carragher argued that people get carried away by nostalgia when comparing them to FC Barcelona’s iconic trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suárez, and Neymar.
According to him, Bayern’s front three are better suited to the modern game because of their intensity, work rate, and pressing. He highlighted Kane’s all-around play, Díaz’s relentless energy, and Olise’s creativity combined with stamina.
He compared that to the Barça trio, saying while they were exceptional with the ball, they wouldn’t match today’s demands off it where pressing, tracking back, and defensive discipline are crucial.
Carragher concluded that modern football requires balance as much as talent, and in his view, Bayern’s trio offers both, while Barcelona’s relied more on individual brilliance than overall structure.

🚨🤯 French football writer Frédéric Hermel has SLAMMED the PSG-Bayern semi-final as a “TikTok-era” match:
🗣️ “That’s not football. This sport is built on a goalkeeper, a defence, a midfield and an attack — but in this game, there was ONLY attack.
Both teams took away three quarters of what real football is. ❌
What we saw Tuesday night is the symbol of the TikTok era — constant intensity, constant speed, no pause, no thinking.
Poor football. Poor world.”
Do you agree with him? 🤔

@Kemeesweetlife1 Wont ever be a Liverpool player its not how it works at anfield
English

I don’t care or give a f*****k about his past actions.
If we cannot sign Olise this is a proper Mo Salah replacement 💯 %
He will be available in the summer and champions league football is guaranteed 👍.
He’s versatile, has flair,he’s more clinical than Olise right now.

@PreshUnfiltered I call it bad tatics klopp would have these lads pressing like monsters in games as a team
English

@lfc_nino That's actually a you problem. We, Older generation went through the 90s / 00s and our passion for the team was immense even though we struggled a lot. If you can't enjoy the good games in isolation from the bad ones you might not be as passionate a football fan as you think.
English

If Alisson is sold, I'll lose my mind. Injuries aside, he's still the best goalkeeper in the Premier League.
We look a far worse team without him, & Mamardashvili is a massive drop-off.
Whats going on with Edwards & Hughes trying to offload all of Klopp’s key players???
No wonder Van Dijk is reportedly fuming with them👍

English

@Corballyred The look slow and sloppy to me and not half as fit when klopp was there which means more injuries if your not fit to keep uo with other fit teams the run out of gas ofter 60 mins
English

Remember when we were told Slot's slower football would mean fewer injuries than Klopp's high intensity style?
Close to 40 separate injuries later how’s that working out?
Serious questions need to be asked about the players’ conditioning under Slot.
Too much time in the coffee bar & not enough on the pitch maybe👍
