Happy to see you on the other side! o/

@fhemberger Exactly. I unfollowed all the cross posting accounts since there is not much value in it, as one side will get neglected. And since I aggregate everything in bit.ly/35dYkvR / @baschtdotcom I get replies / likes from both worlds without needing to cross post. :)

I think I could happily migrate most of the tech-related stuff that I created this account for, over to Mastodon these times. The community has really grown a lot. <3

(Needless to say – you can always follow the firehose of @baschtdotcom – which aggregates Twitter, Mastodon, Pixelfed and a few others)

@fhemberger As for active instances – a lot of people I follow are on chaos.social/explore – but that's closed for registration. Dunno maybe @moritzheiber has a hint?

@fhemberger Absolutely. It's a niche, and I honestly expected it to fade out like app dot net and the others, but it somehow stuck and I keep stumbling upon new and interesting people that are actively posting their (as opposed to just cross posting from Twitter).

@fwartner It’s still very much the first thing I start on every box I log into, so I suppose: yup. :D I suggest you can start with the basic tabs feature and leave the tiling and other stuff for later. If you’re used to Vim, change the keymode, otherwise go with the default.

Is tmux still a thing? I never touched it before... Any good resources to learn how to use it?
