Sometimes I forgot that Cable has always been drawn with such huge boobs bc his iconic look that people remembered him for is that he has all the gears and pad stuff to cover up

It's March 24!!! 22 years ago Marvel (and Nicieza) randomly decided to change lives by dropping Cable & Deadpool, Happy Divorce-versary to our two boys : D

i like to think wade used to have internalized homophobia/denial and cable helped him overcome it

deadpool had his first serious gay situationship with CABLE of all people, he went through the nine circles of hell and has never recovered

*nate voice* ohhh i don't know how to fix things with wade i'm scared of just talking it out.... let's put wade in a psychological torture chamber to manipulate him into coming back to me so i don't have to admit i need him

Cablepool is consuming my every waking thoughts like if a guy tells me that he know my son better than me I would have also shoot him too ngl

@glitteraptor cable love & chrome and weapon x-men are both terrible comics to be fair. I think the problem is that hes always being put into the hands of writers who dont understand his character very well

@cablepooling It has 😭 I feel bad for not really liking his newer runs (X-Men Red v2, Cable Love & Chrome, Weapon X-Men) bc he honestly seems really dumb and narrow, and the Cable doing the messiah stuff was so much more interesting n nuanced

I feel like nobody talks about this enough

@glitteraptor him in messiah complex was good too, i feel most comics after that era turned him into some wolverine 2.0 -personality wise

@cablepooling I really miss the C&D version of Cable where his character really focused on being a messiah and the consequences of that. The religious imagery & his relationship with DP was unique. It feels like almost every Cable since is just written as the gruff leader with big guns
