My mom normally messages me first on my birthday every year, but I decided to message her first this year I’m up reflecting!
“Today, I celebrate a major milestone - my 40th birthday! I'm grateful to God for this day and thankful for the countless blessings and love I've received over the years. Although it's my special day, I want to share it with the one who made it possible - my incredible mother!
Mom, I thank you for carrying me for nine months, delivering me, and being my rock ever since. Your strength and unwavering support mean the world to me. As I reflect on my life, I realize that every accomplishment, every place I've been, and every bit of wisdom and knowledge I've gained is a credit to you. You raised me selflessly, ensuring I knew love and had everything I needed.
At 40, I've come to understand that some things in life truly don't matter, while others matter most - and you, Mom, are top of the list! So, on my birthday, I simply want to say thank you.
