Strait of Hormuz is open on three conditions: 1. Only commercial ships are allowed. Military ships are cargo from nations unfriendly to Iran are not allowed. 2. Iran may chose to open and close the Strait of Hormuz at will, without recurse to any inconvenience 3. Ships are only allowed to sail in the Hormuz through the Iranian coastal waters. Point number 3 is the most important strategic victory for Iran.
