@LegalOpsHezzle For us it’s just plain Word but with the advanced system of styles and template elements we created over the years

What's the best document formatting tool (probably Word plug-in) that you've used to make your docs/contract templates house-style (i.e. font/styles/paragraph numbering etc..) standardised?

@Clevy_Law True. Take contract drafting culture. With tech, you get highly automated and completely incomprehensible and inhumane truckloads of text.

@jackwshepherd We agree. Sometimes we want to add "And always write it as if normal people would read it, too". The chances it gets to its true users (business folks, customers, etc.) are much higher than it ends up with a judge.

Btw, maybe there’s a lack of legal tech adoption because some software in 2022 still looks like Internet Explorer 6.0 in 2001

Discovered Web Design Museum. Check out how Google, SpaceX, YouTube, Apple, Lego, and other folks upgraded their UI/UX design through time. The same should happen to legal tech. Link: webdesignmuseum.org

Any doc automation project would benefit immensely if started with legal design and standardization. Smartly designed documents improve legal tech adoption and show extra value.

Today’s documents are largely incompatible with legal innovation. It’s always a challenge to automate documents with too many options and inter-dependencies in them, with walls of text and low standardization across hundreds of templates. #LegalDesign #LegalTech #ContractOne

Contract.one leaves no chance to confuse versions. Whatever you do, you’re in the right version but have full access to the entire history of negotiations—who did what, and when. Isn’t this magic? #ContractOne #Versioning
