@eclaughton They are very rarely if ever accessible for a variety of disabled people.

Question for the room. Are retreats / residential useful? What do you want from them? E.g space / accom / food. To be left alone? What is a barrier? Is it cash / access to locations etc. Asking for Improbable (location in picture below)

Could anyone point me to writing about UK CFS/ME clinics in the period 2002-2019 or so, in heyday of GET, CBT and 'false illness beliefs'? It could be personal experiences, campaigning or scientific reports, as long as it's about the actual clinics that patients went to.

Feeling really down after this morning. I never thought as a disabled teenager that if I made it to the age of 60 (next year) I'd not only be facing the same inaccessible environment but would now be a public enemy. Imagine being a disabled teen today? Jeezus.
