CSIR-IIIM at its Srinagar Branch completed Hands on Training program on Downstream Processing of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants under CSIR-Integrated Skill Initiatives. Director, Dr Zabeer Ahmed distributed certificates to 20 participants who had come from different parts of country to participate in this program

The Director emphasized the Skill Development Programme for employment generation. The program, with nine participants from across India, aims to provide practical exposure to soilless cultivation systems and promote sustainable, resource-efficient agricultural practices

The three-day Hands-on Training Programme on High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), organised by CSIR-IIIM Jammu under the CSIR Integrated Skill Initiative, concluded successfully today. Director Dr. Zabeer Ahmed, while addressing the valedictory session, appreciated the enthusiastic participation of researchers and students and emphasized the importance of skill-based training in strengthening scientific research and innovation in the country. Participants from leading institutions across India gained valuable hands-on experience in HPLC instrumentation, method development, sample analysis, and data interpretation. The programme provided a dynamic platform for interactive learning and capacity building in advanced analytical techniques.
