@fanahovamtg @WillErker the trigger is put on the stack either way, but only cares about if you gained life before it resolves. It isnt an ability that is put on the stack *if* it happened.

@WillErker Pretty sure you would need to sac with how it's worded? The trigger is checked at the start of end step (did you gain life?) and will go on the stack saying "Sacrifice a permanent", you then have to sac to resolve it. If u gain life during main phase, there's no trigger at all.

Rules people do I have to sac anything if I stack my triggers correctly?
