I watch this video every Yom HaShoah Remembrance Day. And I cry each time, because it revives my hope in humanity!
This is Nicholas Winton, who rescued 669 (mostly Jewish) children from Czechoslovakia during the Holocaust & brought them to Britain in the Kindertransport.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has just been nominated to the UN Committee for Programme and Coordination to shape policy on women's rights, human rights, disarmament and terrorism prevention.
The British government, of course, did not object to Iran’s appointment — even though the Iranian regime has been massacring thousands and thousands of protestors this year.
At least it shows satire is not dead.

Great article by @FraserNelson - and great to see him quote the late and great Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks, whose book “The Home We Build Together” (written in 2007) is still so incredibly relevant nearly 20 years on such was the timeless wisdom of his teachings and insights.
