One of the four Penduline Tits at West Rise yesterday - two miserable hours with water-filled boots gave way to one unforgettable hour when they turned up in the sunshine and fed right in front of me!

A flock of Penduline Tits is hanging out at West Rise Marsh in Eastbourne! We watched four of these bandit-masked beauties quietly feeding on the reedmace this morning

The sea has been rough off the Sussex coast lately. This young Little Gull, the smallest gull species in the world and normally far at sea, was dancing over the surf this morning.
