This is just wrong. The NCAA should clear Akron’s Ali Ali immediately. The NCAA set the conditions for a waiver. The conditions were satisfied. That should be the end of it. Instead, the NCAA is trying to address the transfer issue by denying these waivers, instead of through policy change. Ali Ali is not alone here, which is sad. The NCAA is not allowed to break its own rules.
