Much of the experiences we are going to have or find of the physical earth is on the negative side. There are so many examples of greed everywhere, jealousy everywhere, hurt everywhere and pain. There are examples of people wanting to gain advantage over another, wanting to gain power and control over another and not being too concerned about how they go about getting it. (Eg Wike, Akpabio and Tinubu) Of course, there are also examples of goodness, kindness, benevolence and loving. (Eg Tunde Ednut, VDM, Peter Obi etc). Do you know both positive and negative polarities exist within each and everyone of us? We are sometimes negative in our thinking or in our emotions and we are sometimes loving and kind in our behaviors and charitable in our thinking. It is all part of our human experience. Enjoy your journey on earth. God is loving you always

Feezha, I miss those days so much when my sister will just slap on whatever eyeshadow she had, then stand by the window like it's a photoshoot, no plan, no occasion oo, like she does it as if it is a normal thing. Although she is still in school,,but she barely touch her makeup bag unless someone's getting married or something. Adulthood is changing some things.

@eezharhh Honestly, it sounds like she was having a mood or control issue, not enforcing healthy boundaries. You did the right thing by leaving instead of enduring that energy.

I visited my "best friend" unannounced yesterday and I don’t think our 5-year friendship survived the 30 minutes I spent in her house because the "you can come anytime" we always say was clearly a lie. I was just around her area and said let me quickly branch so I called her twice but she didn't pick and since I was already close I just went anyway. The way she opened that door the smile was doing overtime because it was that "oh you're actually here" kind of smile that doesn't reach the eyes and the first thing she said wasn't even welcome it was "you should have called first" like ma'am I literally called three times are we auditing my call log or are we friends? I entered and the house was boiling hot with the fan off and the generator off and the windows clamped shut like a prison cell while she just sat there looking at me like a debt collector she’s been dodging since 2024. Then I heard plates clinking and I thought okay maybe she’s bringing food or at least some biscuits to salvage the vibe but tell me why this girl walked out with ONLY WATER and not even room temp but ice cold water like I just finished a marathon. We were just sitting there in a silence so loud it felt like we were two strangers who met on a bus and to make matters worse the same phone she "didn't see" when I called rang and she picked up IMMEDIATELY and started laughing and gassing the person on the other end while I was sitting right there like a piece of furniture. I didn't even wait for her to hang up I just stood up and left because is it just me or has this new obsession with "boundaries" turned people into literal villains? If my best friend can't branch unannounced without it being a violation are we even friends or just mutuals with history?
