@Sksj002 Not entirely clear why he was arrested? Did he have a trial? Seemed to go straight to prison. What did he do that was different than everyone else in the Marvel universe? And at same time they let Fisk go who literally had blood all over him? Guess it was in the script.

The reason NYC gives the “Key To The City” to ''SPIDER-MAN' instead of Daredevil actually makes perfect sense ⚡ At the end of Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Matt Murdock ends up in jail, making Daredevil a controversial figure in the eyes of the public and the government. There’s no way the city officially honors someone connected to that level of political chaos. Meanwhile, Spider-Man is publicly protecting New York every single night. Brand New Day has street-level villains like Tarantula, Boomerang and criminal gangs running around the city, so the movie can easily open with a montage of Spider-Man stopping crimes nonstop across NYC. After No Way Home, Peter lost EVERYTHING his identity, friends, home, and public trust. The “Key To The City” symbolizes New York accepting Spider-Man as its true hero again.
