@EriqFelix @JHE_Editors I appreciate the shout out! Thank you for the time you invest in reviewing!

Might be the espresso hitting, but I really enjoy reviewing for @JHE_Editors. Shout out to @esjayque for the reviewer training and feedback. Helpful to be more affirming, intentional, and constructive in providing author useful comments to advance manuscript towards publication.

@danielhighered So pleased to see this important work published! Kudos to you for hanging in there throughout the process and your responsiveness to the feedback. It was well worth the time!

@NASPAGAPtweets @OhioState The amount of labor it takes, most of which is uncompensated. Expending myself and not taking care of myself in ways I need.

Let’s get some more feedback from leaders in our industry! @esjayque is a professor in the higher education and student affairs program at The @OhioState university. He has published numerous peer reviewed articles and books for our industry around social justice and equity!

Working as an associate editor on this journal under the leadership of @doctorkag was one of the best career decisions ever. This journal is author-friendly and values care and constructive feedback in the publishing process. Consider applying!

Dr. Royel M. Johnson@royeljohnson
I am excited to share that I have accepted an offer to join @USCRossier in January 2022 as an Associate Professor. This move is bittersweet as the last 4 years at @PSU_CollegeOfEd have been so transformative in my life. I can't wait to see what this next chapter has in store.

link.springer.com/referenceworke… It’s published!! One of the hardest pieces to write made so much better with awesome collaborators, Chris, @TerahJay & @Erin_Moniq. Grateful to the student activists who continue to hold us accountable for living our equity and justice values. ✊🏾

This is what it means to do meaningful work in academia. It’s not about chasing pubs, but rather taking time to carefully do work that makes a difference and centers those “on the margins of the margins,” to quote @TerahJay. Ecstatic to see this piece in @JDHEtweets!
English

@TerahJay @JDHEtweets Soooo happy to see this in print! Kudos to you for this very important work!
