@flash_mab Of the 114m prescriptions issued around 80-90% would have been exempt from charges under the old rules or the current English rules. I suspect the flunkie forgot that when he did his sums.

@EasyPeasy_3 23/24 there was 114m prescriptions issued at say £9 a time, I personally haven’t had a prescription for many years but I know and have family members with chronic illnesses, some people will be little to no use and for others a godsend, I’m proud and happy to subsidise it

My grandson came home yesterday and told his mum that they had a lesson on muslims, and their religion in school that day. Today, my family decided that as Christians, catholics, and with Jewish relatives as well as women's rights activists aplenty within our family, this was not appropriate, needed, or wanted. Monday, the head teacher will have a complaint she never imagined, she will never forget and will never wish repeated.

just read back on @I_Skream tweets and discussion about nightclubs… am sure everyone is aware a always give back to these places (the fundamental lifeblood of electronic music) but djs need to work with these clubs to help them survive more capacity = fee help them
