I disagree. Think you can put a lot of emotion into a landscape, it all depends on whether the audience can see it. Monet is acclaimed for his landscapes, despite them being โ ugly up close โ.

faces can be hard because of how complicated they can get but landscapes are so easy, less complex. no emotion to convey. . who knows , maybe the universe pushed us together for a reason.
