Still thank you for asking, some artists feel uncomfortable when their OCs are used as inspiration be it fear of being outshined or not being unique anymore and it’s understandable. But as artists, it’s important to accept that nothing we create is truly unique.

I think I've read up on how the national level ends up being the bigger support when external sources get in the way of funding, but I'll need to look into this more. It honestly just sounds like in this case the indies don't sound any different from a normal studio
