Free agent guard Collin Gillespie intends to sign a four-year, $48 million deal to return to the Phoenix Suns, sources tell ESPN. Gillespie spent three straight seasons on two-way contracts after going undrafted out of Villanova in 2022 and now earns a lucrative long-term deal.

Atlanta Hawks guard CJ McCollum has agreed to a one-year, $21 million contract extension with the franchise, plus a trade kicker, agent Sam Goldfeder of Excel Sports Management tells ESPN. McCollum has been eligible for an extension until June 30 and commits to a new deal that keeps him out of free agency.

Memphis producer Tay Keith has passed away at the age of 29. News of Tay Keith's death began circulating on social media on Thursday (June 18), with several rappers reacting to the reports in disbelief. Tay's death was later confirmed. According to local Tennessee news station WSMV 4, the beat maker, born Brytavious Chambers, was found dead in his Nashville, Tenn., apartment. No foul play is suspected by police, who found Tay's body during a welfare check. His cause of death has not been released. Tay Keith was preceded in death by his mom, who passed away in 2021 following a battle with cancer. Tay Keith was one of the hottest producers of the last decade, having produced hit records for Drake ("Nonstop"), Travis Scott ("Sicko Mode"), Sexyy Red ("Pound Town"), Key Glock ("Russian Cream"), DJ Khaled ("Every Chance I Get") Blocboy JB ("Look Alive") and more.
