I debate people to engage and refute the most widely accepted evils that cut people off from Christ, like atheism, abortion, sexual evil, etc. Or the the largest Christian alternative to Catholicism, Protestantism. The majority of people, Catholic and non-Catholic, agree with Cade on fornication and sodomy. We have to engage this evil because many souls are at stake. Because of the scale of the problem, I'm not going to waste my time debating people on errors that the majority of people already reject, including but not limited to: flat earth, geocentrism, holocaust denial, saying interracial marriage is sinful (even "incidentally"), saying Christians should be profane jerks, unfounded conspiracies, etc. Maybe you could focus your efforts on reaching the huge number of those furthest away (non-religious, sexual degenerates) instead of nagging those of us who are already trying to reach that group.
