this pisses me off so bad because it’s so wrong. trans people are probably the most left-leaning group in existence, almost every trans person i know is a communist or anarchist or at least a socdem, and i’ve personally seen two other trans women at a pro-palestine protest.

That’s horrible, but also - since they represent such a small percentage of the overall population, why are so many of them aligned with fascism and related ideologies like Zionism and Nazism, especially the chronically online factions? Why present this to the general population when nothing is being done about those literal trans people aligning with the architects and funders of a genocide that has already begun against the queer community. It seems disingenuous not to start there - to apply the same scrutiny to both sides, because all I’m seeing are trans people aligning with and covering for each other, including enablers of genocide. When these individuals get called out, no matter how horrible or depraved their actions, it reflects poorly on all of the lgbt community and undermines our ability to push back effectively. Sure it happens in all minority groups but not in such numbers and with such excuses of using identity to shut down legitimate discourse and expecting that to suffice, which is definitely from a place of ignorant white privilege.

Unfortunate reality is if you made a video called "top 10 hardest levels beaten by women" and included trans women, you'd essentially just make "top 10 hardest levels beaten by trans women"
And if you added "cis" you'd inevitably get hit with "why are you excluding trans women?"

We need to stop normalizing tossing the term “transphobic” around so loosely in this community. The intent of this video was not to harm the trans community, it was just meant to highlight the accomplishments of c1s women, which is genuinely appreciated tbh.
