There’s more than one way to blaze a trail. Some do it through bold moves and loud moments, while others carve their path through quiet mastery and purposeful precision. Houda Mouttaqui is one of the latter: a builder of structure, an architect of clarity, and a believer that progress happens when every piece fits just right. As a Salesforce Support Engineer at GridMate, Houda brings a rare balance of technical sharpness and human understanding. Whether she’s refining workflows or documenting complex logic, she does it all with calm focus and thoughtful intent - the kind that brings order to complexity and meaning to every detail. Her journey into the Salesforce world began while she was still a student. Invited by her uncle to the first-ever edition of North Africa Dreamin', Houda found herself captivated by the energy of the community. “Seeing his passion and how supportive everyone was really inspired me,” she recalls. That event ignited a curiosity that quickly grew into a calling. Since then, she’s earned three Salesforce certifications, completed hands-on internships, and represented GridMate at the Salesforce Developer Group meetups in Casablanca. She’s also volunteered at five editions of North Africa Dreamin’, embodying the spirit of giving back that defines true Trailblazers. For Houda, being part of the Salesforce ecosystem means more than building systems - it’s about belonging. “It’s like being part of a global family that values growth, collaboration, and giving back,” she says. Looking ahead, Houda aims to keep deepening her Salesforce expertise and explore the business side of technology, eventually bridging her technical understanding with client strategy. Long term, she hopes to mentor new Trailblazers, passing on the inspiration that sparked her own journey. The road ahead looks promising for Houda, both at GridMate and across the Salesforce ecosystem.
