@hotyurimoments Soi Fon didn't approach Yoruichi with the new haircut, either, Yoruichi (who doesn't give much of a fuck about nobody other than herself most of the time) noticed and pointed it out; the whole "Lady Yoruichi" dialogue is remarkable, too. Those eyes...

@herdeepestvoid Fuck man she really was the one trying to get closer to Soi-Fon aswell in this particular instance

@herdeepestvoid sources tell me makoto is stable
please god
English

@hinamorimom0 He really was an obnoxious fuck most of the time; he answers to a lot of tropes that more or less ensure his juggernaut popularity but he's so bland otherwise lmao
English

@herdeepestvoid There are so many better ways to deal with people that are that fucking traumatized-- the options aren't 'agere forever' or 'abuse them'. He could have done so many other things that didn't put her down further. Fucking hate that blonde. no idea why he's got so many selfships

...you're not gonna see me watching or reading this. i'm so sorry, amo. i wish people could behave properly towards you.
Alex🚮🐺@fenchfrie_twt
#gachifrie This might be controversial but I rlly liked what Enjin said here. It was harsh, but that's the point: Amo won't grow if she doesn't experience different interactions like this. He gets her power and is actively trying to help her. He cares more than he'll ever admit.

@Saturn_Kat In spite of what his role as a Captain begs him to do. Komamura was aware of Tosen's mysanthropy beforehand, but it's Tosen's admission that revenge was his ultimate goal that really forced his hand
English

@Saturn_Kat Well, because ultimately there is some inner conflict within Komamura; he wasn't able to cut down Tosen. It's not to the level of, say, Soi Fon or Byakuya, but for a moment Komamura acknowledged the strength of his appreciation for Tosen and couldn't carry the endeavor
English

@Saturn_Kat He did indeed come to sympathize with some of Tosen's rhetoric but, as Komamura admits after Tosen gives his "To live without avenging the dead is vice" speech, their views were irreconcilable and he had no choice but to kill him; again, his main character flaw
English

@herdeepestvoid I also give him big points for TRYING to understand Tousen, which no one else other than Shuuhei was willing to even entertain. It was never his desire to kill Kaname, or to get revenge. It was an honest attempt to save him from himself
English

@Saturn_Kat Given that Komamura's past is overall somewhat nebulous (abandoned his clan, got rescued off by Yamamoto, joined the Gotei?) I don't know if it really applies to the overall workings of his character but I can see where you're coming from
English

@herdeepestvoid i think sajin and renji share certain aspects in that regard. they've internalized aspects of their discrimination, feel like it's "deserved" and that they only path to redemption is by assimilating and being accepted by people in power
English

@Saturn_Kat Which also probably translates into him being overall both well liked and well respect, a professional through and through; he gets Soi Fon, an abrasive and standoffish person to her core, to shut up and reconsider her attitude after screaming at her
English

@herdeepestvoid oh yeah, Hard Agree. out of all the captains, Komamura is definitely the best at being an actual LEADER who cares about his officers and isn't afraid to challenge the other captains' when he disagrees with them
