@MintRefresh_MC @BluJayGames i feel they could do more tho..... all features (if they are good) cater to everyone in some capacity. adding something like a mode that snaps to the block grid when on the ground being slime, redstone block powering nearby things and maybe a heavy core makes it become a weapon

I’ve seen soooo many comments today saying there is no use for the sulfur cube in solo worlds. People have lost their imagination. My goodness. FIND something to do with it! Be creative!!! Stop complaining and make your own fun! Almost like…that’s the point of the game! 🤣

@sniffalt minecraft should become more sandboxy but not by adding lots of what exists, by pushing mechanics with sandbox incentivisation surrounded by incentive like if they made the sulphur cube either do something else or the player can bucket them

@MintRefresh_MC @KoiSakana23 no depth to the game and relies on you interacting with the mob. the main critique is that other mobs used to have this as surface level content with fun and unique ways to mess around with it. now, the cube uses that as its only use, having nothing surface level

@MintRefresh_MC @KoiSakana23 firstly dripstone caves are meant to serve as the "base" cave, being the generic one with little to no gimmick while still having dripstone which is a major building tool for both decorators and trappers. sulphur caves while having a "gimmick" seem underutilized as it adds 1/2

I hate both sides of “stop complaining” and “this is awful” From what we’ve seen this update looks mediocre, like a lot of the recent updates. Unless they do something more with sulfur, I think it’ll just be another update.

@MintRefresh_MC @KoiSakana23 no.1 is actually really important. you can either have cutesy biome or devastating landscape but not both, so why not add qol to the cube by allowing you to move it as a block first and also locking it as treasure loot so it doesnt get in the way

@JLN200002 currently if they released it with no change, it wouldnt be a good addition. however, if they expanded sulphur caves with more interactables and maybe making the cube an unlockable from visiting the caves instead of a vagrant eg. mining a sulphur slime block to get the mob

not true potent sulfur will add a layer of challenge. it may not be how you would've designed it, but more thought was put into it other than "cute mob haha"

Mojang is adding sulphur caves to Minecraft and instead of making them mechanically interesting to navigate (given the well known dangers of sulphur caves irl) they just shoved in a cutesy mob designed to sell merch and called it a day 😭

@kmb42600 yea. the best thing they can do, is actually add some new mechanic to the biome that is explosive eg: sulphur powder: block that generates in the biome, when falls like sand, explodes depending on velocity, can be made into custom tnt, explosive potion and a block that gives 1/2

@MintRefresh_MC @KoiSakana23 1. sulphur cube both takes away from the aesthetic of the cave and makes the game more cozy, making it a block when you find it first would be good 2. lack of incentive to go outside the slime eg. new sulphur powder that explodes and can be used in new recipies

@hyperforg @KoiSakana23 All of the drops have their specific audiences. That was never a secret and has been established for over a year. And I wouldn't call it miniature at all. There's a lot here, and there's a very reasonable chance that there's more given how other drops have developed.
