The Adama Maneuver in Battlestar Galactica is one of the coolest sci-fi TV moments. Dropping a battleship through a planet’s atmosphere for a midair fighter launch was already insane on paper, then the show somehow made it feel grounded & epic all at once.

Dredd (2012) was written off as straight to video trash. Then it dropped a razor sharp action classic. One tower, one siege, zero waste. It absolutely deserved sequels.

So I'm guessing you'd prefer the standard English accents, yeah? Which - and this is WHY Nolan is doing it this way - DID NOT EXIST in the time of the Odyssey. Nolan could have literally chosen any dialect in the world and been equally historically correct - so why not American?

American accents were a real mistake for Christopher Nolan's Odyssey. It just highlights the weird dialogue. Tom Holland saying "my dad is coming home" is so so bad. The armor is the least of this movie's issues. But at least we won't be able to see any of it with that lighting!

Euphoria Season 3 is about halfway complete & I’m curious what you guys think about it. There have been moments, particularly in the first two episodes, that I found the show nearly unwatchable. But the last two episodes, including Nate’s wedding, weren’t half bad. Your thoughts?
