The only Reason NDC was formed was because after the overthrow of Nkrumah the UP banned any political organization under the Name or Nkrumah, you would be arrested for even holding any image or paraphernalia or Nkrumah. It is the reason PNC, PNP etc all came instead on Nkrumah Rawlings is the only one who brought together Nkrumahists and removed that ban after the coming into force of the 1992 constitution. The audacity of those who used suicide bombs to try to assassinate Nkrumah, even giving one to a little girl to talk about bloodied past. ..!!!

Let every Ghanaian know that all Nkrumah's factories and hotels were sold and privatized by JJ Rawlings. He even sold some to his wife. Rawlings is the reason why Ghana is battling industrialization today. He killed our industrialization drive in the decade where our colleagues like South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore were expanding their manufacturing sectors to strengthen their economies.

Most of you guys are very sick you’re blaming Rawlings but not the people that overthrew Nkrumah and run the country down ? Read about Dark Days in Ghana by Nkrumah. When Rawlings came to power the state could no longer handle the cost of running all these enterprises.the country had been messed up through corruption. It was part of the IMF conditions to privatize all these companies same way they want us to privatize ECG. You guys are so ignorant it’s sad.
