As someone who works in the banking sector. I tell u in these few days we have received lots of scam reports regarding BTS tickets. So here are a few tips for you before doing any transactions or if you are being scammed, this is what you need to do.
1. Before making any transactions, kindly check if there is any report regarding the account or phone number (duitnow) that you want to transfer at semakmule.rmp.gov.my
2. If the account has no reports yet, please check how many times the account has been searched on the website. If there are too many searches, you need to take more caution. Probably like getting more information regarding the account holder.
(I suggest u guys don't transfer to TNG acc or virtual Bank account.. Just asked them the normal Bank account)
3. If you are being scammed, please make an immediate report to the National Scam Response Centre (NSRC) 📞 997 (8:00am-8:00pm every day, including public holidays), or you can also lodge a report to your respective bank's 24/7 hotline.
4. Kindly lodge a police report and give it to your respective bank for further action.
5. You are advised to do this ASAP and if possible, within 24 hours for the fast action being taken. Atleast you still got a chance to save your money before they moved it to a different account or had it withdrawn.
