Big news: @MTA & @GovKathyHochul today announced RFP from rail car manufacturers for the largest subway car contract in history. It would replace up to 2,390 cars on the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 trains. (That's more cars than the Chicago & Massachusetts Transit Authorities combined.)

@DerrickEvans4WV It doesn’t cost extra for the rest of the world to use it. The satellites just beam a signal down to earth, and our phones detect it. The signals are being sent whether a device picks it up or not. Also worth mentioning Europe, Russia, and China have their own GPS systems.
