Fantastic turnout for @RestoreHavant’s first branch meeting this evening. The members are energised to help and are fully supportive of @RestoreBritain_’s policies. They admire @RupertLowe10’s direct approach to key issues.

It’s two years since I went around the @itvmeridian studios when one of their senior staff recommended I try #ITVX. It’s excellent value for money at £60 a year and no adverts; I’m renewing again. Hope I’ll get another invite later and it was great to meet H, M, and S.

Really helpful manager again at @Screwfix in #Havant today. I do like to recognise good service while, but I’ll also highlight unsatisfactory conduct. Thank you.

A 19-year-old thug shoves an 84-year-old man from behind, who hits his head on the pavement and dies. The perpetrator whines in the courtroom, "just a bad day," and actually gets off with probation. Legacy media suppress the story. Sickening.

I am fully committed to Reform and have no doubt Reform will win Great Yarmouth at the next general election, along with a parliamentary majority. But I will not be the candidate. I suggest Iain Dale gets himself some better sources.

🚨 BREAKING: left-leaning circles are saying Keir Starmer is expected to resign as UK Prime Minister TOMORROW. Deputy PM David Lammy will serve as interim leader. A Labour leadership contest now anticipated in private circles. Be honest: If true how would you react?

You should be ashamed of your performance in that interview, Tom. You failed to show the interviewer even a minimum level of courtesy. And your attempt to link Her Majesty’s bereavement to Boris Johnson & partygate was irrelevant & pathetic.
Tom Hayes MP@TomHayesBmouth

I’ll never forget that image of the Queen sitting alone to pay a final farewell to her husband of 73 years. She followed Covid rules while Boris Johnson’s Downing Street held their lockdown-breaching parties. I’ll never forget that appalling behaviour even if others want to.

With local #GreenParty candidates fully supporting their central Party policy, I too cannot understand why anyone, and particularly those in #Havant would vote for the #GreenParty. At work we were told to #Think, it’s so important that we all do.

Putting aside the divide between Restore and Reform supporters, what Rupert Lowe is saying in this clip from an interview with Emily Maitlis is absolutely spot on. Maitlis usually has plenty of room to land subtle digs at those she’s interviewing, but here you could argue she hit a wall. “You don’t have illegal migrants living next to you, Emily, because you live in a part of the country that probably doesn’t have them.” Precisely 💯

The @HavantBorough and ALL Councillors, and in particular the #Labour, #LibDem, #Green Cllrs (Coalition) of #HaylingIsland failed to ensure the Council decided the #RookFarm 300 home development on time; this will now go to the Planning Inspectorate for a decision and the Coalition Council has decided NOT to defend the Gladman/Barratts Planning Application. We on #Hayling deserve better; those parties do not deserve our votes.

I have updated the sequence of events on Mandelson's appointment. It's worse than I thought. Here's why. 1. UKSV vet Mandelson, they collate a vetting file, and fail him. The vetting file is confidential and is NEVER shared with anyone except the Security Services. 2. The Propriety and Ethics Team in the Cabinet Office (PET) conduct a due diligence process and produce a report. [See link] The PET report uses mostly open-source information, and it is not as rigorous as the UKSV formal vetting process. It is NOT vetting by any means. 3. The FCDO *DO NOT* take part in the PET process! 4. FCDO have the UKSV decision (as allowed by the process) to overrule UKSV. [This sets a process in train...] 5. UKSV will inform the Security Services based on the evidence in the vetting file. This is HIGHLY confidential, no-one except UKSV or the Security Services can see it. ***Remember this - it is VERY important.*** 5. FCDO grant DV clearance to Mandelson. ***Olly Robbins IS NOT IN POST*** The FCDO might have the PET report. The FCDO have the UKSV vetting fail result. The FCDO will not have the UKSV vetting file, that is standard practice. 6. FCDO inform Starmer (as this is his political appointment) that they have cleared Mandelson. We know Starmer has the PET 'due diligence'. Again, Olly Robbins is not in post. ***Remember this - it is very important*** 7. Starmer asks some questions using the PET report, being a lawyer and all that 🙄 He will know the nature of the PET report, its lack of rigour, and he knows the UKSV DV process. It is not vetting by any means. It is inconceivable he does not ask Mandelson if he passed UKSV vetting. 8. Starmer appoints Mandelson as US Ambassador. These are the facts, and this is the process. Look it up, Grok it to validate if you need to. [HOWEVER....] 8. The UKSV have passed the vetting file to the Security Services, bearing in mind who this is, AND, the importance of the role of US Ambassador, it's not unreasonable to think they investigate further. 9. The US are told, and they would also vet Peter Mandelson. This is standard practice for access to US government documents. 10. Later, we know the US published evidence about Mandelson's involvement with Epstein. In this, Mandelson shared UK state secrets. This is information (formerly secret) that would result in him failing US vetting. 11. The UK Security Service with the UKSV vetting file are also investigating Mandelson. 12. Cue a huge mess - Mandelson resigns, and is interviewed under caution. So: a) the UKSV vetting failure is HUGELY important, this is the only information that the FCDO have, and very little else on Mandelson's vetting. The FCDO do not contribute to the PET report. b) the PET reports no objection to Mandelson taking up the role. c) Bearing in mind, Labour are mired in one scandal after another. It is inconceivable that FCDO did not share the UKSV result to Starmer. d) David Maddox reported in the Independent months ago that Mandelson failed UKSV vetting from Security Services source (remember the UKSV have to pass on their vetting file if they were over-ruled). e) The US vetted Mandelson independently. No doubt, the US shared their findings on Mandelson with the UK Security Services and FCDO. Any strong objections would have to be reported to the PM. Later, they published the Epstein papers showing Mandelson passed on State secrets. f) The Security Services have the UKSV vetting file and they were investigating. Again, inconceivable they would not inform the PM of a potential security risk. It is beyond incredible that Starmer did not know until a few days ago. he is lying. New information here, look at the Annex of the letter. committees.parliament.uk/committee/78/f….
