This is why they don't want physical media, so they can keep charging you $40 for almost 20 years old game with no DLC and just a lazy port with no improvements. As soon as Physical goes away prepare those wallets and pay overpriced for the bare minimum

Remember Scott Pilgrim? It vanished from digital storefronts for 6 YEARS because of licensing. You literally couldn’t buy it anymore. It only came back because fans refused to let it die and Ubisoft finally rereleased it. That’s what people don’t understand about an all digital future. Games don’t have to flop to disappear. A contract expires, a license changes, and poof…it’s gone. Physical copies are the only thing that survives corporate decisions. That’s why this fight matters. NO DISC, NO BUY.

Fum fact: The "Ubi" in Ubisoft comes from "ubiquitous" meaning something found everywhere. Unfortunately, Black Flag Resynced can't be found on the disc. Typical Ubisoft. 😔

Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced PS5 Does it play offline? No Does it require a download? Yes 44.48GB on disc. Works up until the company logos, then requires an online connection to access the main menu. The type of release that undermines physical media over time.
