No, Leon hasn't been perfect.
Yes, he has made mistakes and the merits of his decisions can be debated and criticized.
But to take the franchise from what he inherited to where it is now is actually impressive work and it's okay to appreciate that in isolation.

Breen's comments were pretty normal and he clearly stated "the goal is to win a championship" so I'm unsure why any (alleged) Knicks fan would get this triggered by him crediting Leon Rose for restoring the franchise to a point where title expectations are even a legit discussion

For the season the Knicks rank 9th in 3PAs per 100 poss (39.0) and 4th in 3P% (37.4).
Since ASB (23 games) the Knicks rank 16th in 3PAs per 100 poss (36.4) and 14th in 3P% (36.5).
Deuce+Shamet being out has def been a reason for the decreased volume so getting them should help.
